Using LingoJam to create π―πΌπΉπ± and πͺπ΅π’ππͺπ€ characters in plain-text editors
A useful website for enhancing text posts on LinkedIn
When writing a post on LinkedIn, its text editor offers only plain text. What if you want to write something in ππ¨π₯π or πͺπ΅π’ππͺπ€ font? There is a website that transforms plain text into various fonts - such as bold, italic, serif, and sans-serif. This website is called LingoJam, and here are the 2 versions that I use often in my LinkedIn posts:
I simply copy the plain text of interest and paste it into LingoJam's feeder on the left. It produces the same text in various bold or italic fonts on the right, which I can copy and paste back into LinkedIn's text editor.
Occasionally, I use CAPITAL LETTERS to emphasize a particular term or phrase, but some people find this to be aggressive and akin to shouting. (I am moderately sympathetic to that view, but I would read the substance of the text before rushing into that judgment.) If you prefer to emphasize your text in some other way, consider using LingoJam!
Do note that LingoJam's output counts more toward the number of characters than the original plain text. (I have not been able to determine what the multiplier is; ChatGPT does not know, either.) A LinkedIn post has a limit of 3,000 characters, so take this into account when you use bold or italic text from LingoJam.
